Throughout my career I have made a continuous effort to incorporate all of my passions into what I do each and every day. As both a scholar and creative writer, I aim to produce dynamic work grounded in women's lived experiences. My passion for service informs everything I do, from my community-based dissertation research, to my engagement with the campus and greater surrounding communities where I live. As an editor of the literary journal The Hunger, I seek opportunities to amplify powerful writing and art that offers something new about what it means to be alive today.
